  • September 2009: Allegro completes single and multiple intravitreal injection studies in rabbits to confirm lack of toxicity and safety
  • November 2009: Allegro files provisional patent application for ALG-1001 and ALG-2001
  • September 2010: Allegro forms its Scientific Advisory Board
  • February 2011: Allegro commences Phase 1 Human Safety study, targeted for completion in October 2011
  • March 2011: Allegro completes second species study in a well-published CNV mouse model, proving definite efficacy with material reduction in neovascularization and identifying target dosage
